2003. Students from Kfar Saba (Israel) and Tulkarm (OPT) share their stories in the shadows of the second Intifada. This meeting was an unforgettable experience, but along the years we have learned that in order to create a sustainable impact, programs are needed that include series of workshops which give an opportunity to deal with these issues year after year and create a whole school engagement.
1997. Following the signing of the Oslo agreements in 1993, schools, on both sides of the Green Line, became more open to direct meetings or programs that brought voices from the 'other side'. The deterioration of the situation gradually closed many of those doors.
2006. "Reality and Dreams. A drawing exhibition depicting the harsh reality along hopes for the future. Over the years Windows has used various methodologies to enable school children and youth to air hard feelings and make room for a different experience. Students learned, among other things, that hearing the other side does not silence their own voices.
